Summary of Position

Responsibilities include a wide variety of accounting responsibilities including bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, accounts payable and expense and expense reimbursements review, entering journal entries, budgeting, and mastery of the accounting system (Intacct).

Essential Job Requirements

  • Development and compiling of yearly budgets for all areas of the company including uploading into accounting software
  • Maintaining budget changes throughout the year
  • Assisting with special studies/projects requiring data compilation
  • A strong understanding of the general ledger and journal entries
  • Preparing reports at a level of sophistication appropriate for presentation to management
  • Implementing and tracking of various financial metrics
  • Various other duties as assigned such as bank reconciliations, fixed asset and related depreciation management
  • Regular and timely attendance 

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Required Experience

  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
