Summary of Position

Develop and conduct product child support training programs for employees.  The position will also be responsible for developing training materials for new and existing project staff and ensuring that the material trained is in compliance with contractual and state requirements. Additional responsibilities include revising or drafting scripts and materials as training issues arise, and ensure that all materials are reviewed and approved by management.

Essential Job Requirements

  • Review system and agency statistics regarding performance reports. 
  • Review, evaluate, edit, and update existing training materials. 
  • Identify training needs and develop training materials for all aspects of the Project, including District Office staff, CPC staff, and Legal staff. 
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, adjust training plan as needed. 
  • Meet regularly with Project Manager and Management Team to identify problem areas and trends. 
  • As policy or practice change, or as training needs are identified, update/maintain all trainings and operating procedures as necessary. Ensure that all management staff has reviewed and approved prior to distribution to staff. 
  • Identify methods of delivery to train remotely train staff, including new hire and ongoing training in areas of child support services. 
  • Work with Quality Assurance staff to identify and address issues/concerns surrounding staff achieving individual and team performance goals. 
  • Assist team supervisors with special, on-going or other projects that are important to area/process improvement. 
  • Identify and coordinate with management team outside training opportunities and resources to improve staff performance. 
  • Promote staff development through ongoing training aimed at improving individual staff's verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Create a positive and supportive work environment by supporting and maintaining professional demeanor under stressful circumstances. 
  • Monitor new employee's progress while in training and advise management if any issues arise. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Up to 25% travel 
  • Regular and timely attendance.  

Required Education

A Bachelor's Degree in education, training or other related discipline or equivalent experience.   

Required Experience 

  • Previous training and product experience or one year related training experience, including onsite management. 
  • Three years of Child Support experience is required.
